Fart Silencer InventedEveryone farts… Whether it be in public, on a date, or during an interview, it happens and we know how embarrassing it can be.
Luckily, a man named “Big Chicken Mushroom” from WuHan, China, has invented the “Fart Silencer”, a small plastic tube that you… um… put in your anus.
The “Fart Silencer” is a small plastic tube with one end that is completely open and the other end having numerous smaller holes in it.
Users are instructed to insert the open end into their anus when they feel a fart is coming. This should eliminate any unwanted sound farts tend to produce.
Users are also instructed to spray a cotton ball with their favorite perfume and put it into the “Fart Silencer” to eliminate any unwanted odor that might occur.

Stolen XBox Located Using Controller

Thursday Dec 18, 2008

A Missouri State student came back to his dorm to find his Xbox 360 stolen. Realizing the controller still connected when turned it on, he set out to find the console. And he did.

This is probably the only set of circumstances in which this would work — 360 stolen, thief lives 30 feet away, that’s only gonna happen in a college dorm. But credit to Ryan Ketsenberg for using some critical thinking and old fashioned sleuthing to get his stuff back and bust a thief.

Teen Shot Parents Because They Took Away Halo 3

Thursday Dec 18, 2008

Prosecutors at the murder trial of 17-year-old Daniel Petric claim that the teen shot both of his parents, killing his mother, because they wouldn’t let him play Halo 3.

According to prosectors, Petric, 16 at the time of the shooting, was forbidden to buy Halo 3 by his parents, Mark and Susan Petric. The teen snuck out to purchase the game anyway, and was caught by his parents upon his return. The game was locked up in Mark’s lockbox, along with a 9mm handgun.

Mark Petric, a minister at the Life Assembly of God in Wellington, Ohio, testified that soon after on the evening of October 20th, 2007, his son entered the family room with a request.

“Would you guys close your eyes,” Daniel Petric asked. “I have a surprise for you.”

2,000-year-old brain found in Britain

Monday Dec 15, 2008

British archaeologists have found a skull that contains a remarkably well-preserved brain. Scientists have dated the brain to be at least 2,000 years old.

The skull was found this fall by a digging project led by the University of York. It is believed that the skull was separated from the rest of the body at the time of the Roman invasion of Britain. Although it is still a mystery why the body was buried separated from its skull. The most probable cause is thought to be a burial ritual or sacrifice.

The finder of the skull, Rachel Cubbit, said she realized the presence of the brain inside the skull after noticing that something moved inside the brain when she tilted it. It was a yellow membrane-like substance. However, the size of the brain tissue has shrunk due to time deterioration, but some parts of it have been already identified. Read the rest of this entry »

Buy one car, get the second free

Monday Dec 8, 2008

BRUSSELS – A Belgian car dealer is luring customers with the famous pitch line “buy one, get one free.”

A dog’s life is envy

Monday Dec 8, 2008

An Austrian study shows that dogs are able to recognize simple emontions like envy or jealousy. In a case study, dogs refused to shake paws with other dogs that got treats for tricks and they did not, said Friederike Range an animal psychologist at the University of Vienna.

“It is a more complex feeling or emotion than what we would normally attribute to animals,” said Range.

The study also showed dogs licked and scratched themselves and acted stressed when they were denied rewards given to other dogs.

Other studies have shown monkeys often express resentful behavior when a partner receives a greater reward for performing an identical task, staging strikes or ignoring what they view as inferior compensation. Read the rest of this entry »
